Thank you for asking! We know it's an unusual name.

Syzygy is pronounced SIS-uh-gee.

The term "syzygy" refers to an alignment of objects in the sky - such as planets, stars, and moons, in a straight line.  We chose the name because we focus on delivering experiences that align people with a common purpose and common practices - so that after the workshop or training, all participants are on the same page.

This principle applies whether we are teaching a First Aid class, facilitating a problem solving session, or leading a team building activity.

Classes in Pediatric First Aid, or Adult and Pediatric First Aid from the American Red Cross cover providing First Aid to Children and Infants. For this reason, the Adult and Pediatric First Aid Classes we offer include techniques for responding to choking, respiratory arrest, and cardiac arrest in infants, including skill practices on infant manikins.

Yes! We are a Licensed Training Provider for the American Red Cross, and we offer Fiest Aid Training that meets the requirements of the GSUSA 2024-2026 Safety Activity Checkpoints. 

In addition, we offer Babysitter's training, with or without First Aid/CPR/AED certification.

We also offer Wilderness First Aid training for troops or Special Interest Groups that need training beyond Basic First Aid.
